Cream Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms
- 1 package white cap mushrooms (about 12)
- 1 package cream cheese (8oz)
- 2 tablespoon bacon bits (I use precooked salad bacon bits)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Sit cream cheese out 10 to 15 minutes ahead of time so that it comes up to room temperature and is easier to work with.
- Combine cream cheese, bacon bits, Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese together and blend until well mixed.
- Next clean mushrooms by either removing any loose dirt with a damp paper towel or a small brush.
- Take out mushroom stems and begin stuffing each mushroom cap until over filled.
- Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until mixture starts to brown.
