Baked Cheesy Doritos

If you’re looking for a inexpensive snack, good for a game day, then give this a try. These cook QUICK so always be watching them. The powered cheese on the Doritos will start to brown and it can go south quick. Once done that new found color chip has a whole different taste. One that I like.

  • 16 chips Doritos
  • 16 pieces Cheddar Cheese

  1. Place whole chips on baking pan in a single layer. Cut a square of cheese to fit on the center of each chip and place on chip.

  2. Set oven to Broil and place pan on top rack. Carefully watch as these chips can go from perfect to burnt quickly.

  3. Once cheese starts to melt and chips start to turn darker remove from oven and set aside to cool.

Recipe Notes

I use blocked extra sharp cheddar cheese cut into small squares. Adjust recipe for the number of servings easily.
